Dance Shoe Guide

← Back to Dance Program

Dancers are expected to wear dance shoes in the selected style for each class. Please label shoes with your dancer’s name! Shoes are often lost in the shuffle between classes.

Please see the CAAC Dance Shoe Guide below to determine the type of shoe that is needed for each class. We do not require a specific brand of shoe, but each class does require a specific style.

Shoes can be acquired through a variety of means:

Nimblyshopnimbly.com/CAACDance

This is Revolution’s online order portal. CAAC Dance manages lists associated with the classes we offer and receives a small portion of the proceeds for each item ordered from these lists.

CAAC Dance Used Shoe Collection

We will offer gently-used shoes to dancers for free or a small donation to the dance program. Have a pair of shoes that no longer fit? Feel free to donate them to the collection! Drop off with an instructor before class.

CAAC Dance New Inventory

We have a small assortment of new shoes available at reasonable rates. These will be available to students who need new shoes and fit the sizes we have on hand.

Online Retailers

You are welcome to source shoes via Discount Dance Supply, Amazon, or other online retailers. This allows students to use preferred brands, which may offer a better fit. Just be sure to follow the style guide so shoes still match.
