Celia Zimorksi graduated on the Cheboygan Opera House stage in June 1920, where she received honors as third in in her class of 28 students.
On July 9, 1925, she married Birdsall Barber.
“Miss Celia Zimorski, daughter of Mrs. Marion Zimorski of South C Street, was united in marriage to Birdsall Barber, son of Mrs. Flora Barber by Rev. father Kwaasizroch … being attended by Miss Millicent Oxley, a close chum of the bride, and the bride’s brother Edmund Zimorski. The newlyweds left for a short honeymoon trip through the Upper Peninsula. Both are well and favorably known. Mr. Barber is a longtime employee at the paper mill and his splendid young bride has been bookkeeper and stenographer at the insurance office of Wm. Childs ever since finishing school here.”
