Lions, tigers and bears? Try The Monkees, The Birds and The Turtles.
That will be the focus of an upcoming “Winter at the Zoo” fundraising concert hosted by the Cheboygan Opera House on Saturday, Jan. 29. The show will feature a number of area musicians who will join forces to perform hits from popular classic rock bands.
“Dale Rieger, an extremely talented and local musician, was actually the one who pitched this idea,” said Cheboygan Area Arts Council executive director Owen Goslin.
